Canberra & the ACT
Canberra and the ACT use a senior secondary system centred on college courses and continuous school-based assessment. Students pursuing a tertiary pathway may take the ACT Scaling Test (AST), which supports scaling. The AST is not a replacement for ongoing course assessment.
ACT Senior Secondary Certificate
Bring your college course outline, assessment criteria and upcoming task dates. The learning plan should balance consistent coursework with AST familiarisation when it is relevant to your pathway.
